1986
McNROE begins its journey from a small factory near Bhadrak, Orissa.
Shifts base to Kolkata with Heaven’s Garden as premier offering.
1995
Heaven’s Garden acquires 13% market share across Gangetic Belt. Positions McNROE on India’s FMCG Map.

Secret Temptation marks the beginning of McNROE’s quirky advertising campaigns

Male Grooming Range- WILD STONE launched

MAN BEHIND McNROE

McNROE Consumer Products Pvt Ltd is the brainchild of Shri Narendra Kumar Daga. Also known as India’s Perfumery Genius, he is the creator of celebrated fragrances like WILD STONE RED, GREY & CODE Steel amongst others. Tracing its origin to a humble workshop in Bhadrak, Orissa- the McNROE story is a tale of patience & perseverance of a single individual.

From transporting goods on his bicycle, to charting out business deals- young Narendra Daga was a prolific micro-manager who pursued his dreams with conviction. Coupling knowledge, creativity & innovation to develop marquee products, he proved that Indian entrepreneurs don’t just know marketing but their market as well.

Three decades and three brands later- McNROE, today is amongst the Top 2 Deodorant companies in India according to Nielsen AC (Mar 2018). A visionary to the core, Narendra Daga inspires operational excellence through his leadership at the House of McNROE.
