OUR STORY

Our journey from 1986 to today is one for the history books! Here are some celebrated, special moments through the last three decades.

  • 1986

    McNROE was born in 1986 from a small factory in Bhadrak, Odisha

  • 1995

    Heaven’s Garden, our talcum powder range grabbed 13% of the market share, placing McNROE on the FMCG map

  • 2006

    Secret Temptation disrupted the female grooming space by identifying with the young & unapologetically ambitious women of India

  • 2007

    This year marked the launch of our acclaimed men’s grooming range – WILD STONE

  • 2011

    We expanded our domestic outreach by partnering with 1200+ distribution networks

  • 2016

    WILD STONE CODE was launched as a premium range of fragrances for men

  • 2017

    A momentous year for McNROE. We expanded our operations in Sri Lanka, besides Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Furthermore, WILD STONE’s Kunal Campaign bagged the Effie Honors for Best Marketing Campaign, 2017

  • 2018

    Both Secret Temptation – Romance and WILD STONE – Legend individually crossed 1 million cans sold in India from 2017-2018

  • 2020

    We launched KNOX, to help consumers navigate the new normal in personal hygiene

  • 2021

    Secret Temptation Pink, was launched as the first collective range for women

  • 2022

    WILD STONE CODE extended its portfolio into Hairstyling, Beard Grooming and Skincare products for men

McNROE is the brainchild of India’s Perfumery Genius, Shri Narendra Kumar Daga. His story is one of grit, passion and perseverance. Starting McNROE at a small factory in Bhadrak, Odisha, Shri Narendra Daga went on to create renowned fragrances like WILD STONE RED, GREY and CODE Steel amongst others.

From transporting goods on his bicycle to navigating complex business deals, young Narendra Daga was a prolific leader in the making, who confidently laid the foundation for what McNROE is today. His commitment to developing game-changing lifestyle products has paved the way for Indian entrepreneurs on a global scale.

37 years and 5 brands later Shri Narendra Daga still inspires his employees and partners with his strong leadership, knowledge, creativity and innovation.
