“How are you feeling today?” asked the L&D Head of McNROE to a stressed, yet well-dressed, eagerly waiting, aspiring group of final year students from an eminent B-School at a PPT a.k.a Pre-Placement Talk. This kind gesture did ease the performance pressure off me– after all, the craze of bagging an FMCG job through campus placements is dream-come-true event for any aspiring Marketing student.
21st December 2017 was the day I got selected by McNROE and these last months have been nothing short of eventful. The organization’s value system- McNROE LIFE is a spin-off to my own value system where Learning helps me to develop every day; Integrity forms the crux of my belief system; Family forms the untold backbone of all my endeavors and Entrepreneurship is my individuality that helps me challenge status quo. Hence, blending into the organization’s culture was relatively easy for me.
The most exciting part of my McNROE journey so far has been Secret Temptation’s Desire launch. The longs hours to survey a market, resolving challenges and the painstaking process of cracking a break plan- was an enriching experience. The joy of storming into markets was electrifying- felt great to be a change agent so early in my career!
McNROE is the most exciting place to be in at this point of time, especially if one wants to learn, grow and apply all your marketing theories.
